  1. You must be near to ladidah time now! We've much enjoyed all your blogs, loved the photos particularly the veg and incense stalls in Mysore, the elephant stables in Hampi, and are very surprised to see how huge Amma's Ashram is. We actually had the Morris Oxford one model before the one in your photo but they were'nt very different. Loved your witty descriptions of the bikes incident and rickshaw drives in Hampi, and also the sleeper bus journey to Gokarna - what an adventure! Also enjoy Sam's descriptions of historical sites - the academic one perhaps! We now have a new map of India and in following your route we found it tricky beyond Mysore, but as Gokarna and Om could be coastal (having a beach) we found a place on the map on the coast called Gokarn, which could be the same place, especially after seeing how Ootacamund has transformed.

  2. Just read this post and the comment, can't wait to read about Gokarn/Gokarna. I get a thrill just looking at it on Google Earth.
Isn't Hampi an amazing place? Loved every second. I took hundreds of pictures there, and it's really fun to see more views of the same things. I find myself thinking, "Why didn't I get that shot?"
I also have a pic of that same tree. It did stand out, didn't it?
Looking forward to more reading, thanks for the pictures!
