Less than 4 months till departure

(Lesley) The children seem to be getting into this blogging thing.  I suppose I should try giving it a shot.  We are in the process of weeding our shwant.  We are trying to figure out what we can live without,  then set that  stuff aside stuff for a garage sale.  It is quite the process.  I recommend it.  It is liberating. I bet most of you didn't know we have a dining room table under all that stuff.  Hey by the way, we gave our dining room table a new name this winter.  It is our Fousala!  Elise, our Quebec billet, named it.   It's from foutre ça là. A polite translation would be: "Just throw it there".  I digress.  Anyways, I'm sure you get the idea: our house is getting tidied and organized after our ski season of neglect.
Trip planning is progressing as well.  We read guide books before bed nightly, except John who ordered a few cycling books and is busy with them.  Every third thing out of Sam's mouth sounds foreign.  If he is in another room and I'm not sure what he is talking about my common response now is:  "What country?" The list of things we must see and do is getting longer and longer.
We have found nice folk to rent our house and we are happy about that.  Sam turns 13 soon and he asked me to make sure to let everyone know he is getting better looking each day.  I'm not sure who his target audience is and I dare not ask.  Would you? No!  Running out of time.  We have two concerts today Winnipeg Boys and Winnipeg Girls.  That's all for now.  Lesley

  1. I'm so excited for your WHOLE family. What a superb year you will have, such excitement, and some 'interesting' times, I'm sure!

Keep writing about it, and I'll keep reading.
